Must Have
Comics
|
| |
| These are the issues that any fan of Rogue in the Comics
should have in their collection. If you don't have them, start looking.
I will be adding to this page as I have time to dig into my collection
some more. |
| |
| I apologize for any wrinkling/warping of the image.
They were scanned in the bag. And it was a one-time scan. They are
going back into their nice little dark home, rarely to be seen again. |

Ultimate X-Men #67
Rogue explains to Bobby that when she absorbed Gambit's powers,
she lost her own. Leaving her with only the ability to charge
items. Then she proceeds to jump Bobby and... *shudders* We
just won't think about that. Ick. |
|
| |
 |
Ultimate Annual #1
Rogue and Gambit take on Juggernaut. At the end of the battle,
Gambit lays dying. His last request is a kiss from Rogue. She
grants his wish and absorbs his powers permanently. |
|
| |
 |
Rogue #12 [2004/2005]
Blindspot removes Rogue's memories since she joined the X-Men.
This leaves Rogue thinking she's still with the Brotherhood.
The X-Men pick up on something happening in Japan and go to
Rogue's assistance. She attacks them and whoops their butts.
There is a scene where she throws Wolverine through Iceman,
shattering him. We see the X-Men trying to put Iceman back together
like a jigsaw puzzle. |

| |
 |
Rogue #11 [2004/2005]
Rogue absorbs Sunfire, gaining his powers permanently.
|
|
| |
 |
X-Treme X-Men #18
Rogue loses her powers. |
|
| |
 |
Uncanny X-Men #158
Wish this were a lover spat. Great fun, Rogue beats the crap
out of Wolverine. |
|
| |
 |
Uncanny #171
Rogue joins the X -Men.
|
|
| |
 |
Uncanny #173
The first kiss between Rogue and Wolverine that was not
being used as a weapon. It was to heal her, but it was nice
anyway. |
|
| |
 |
Uncanny #182
This is the first time that Carol Danvers' personality really
takes over. |
|
| |
 |
Uncanny #341
Joseph (Magneto -who looks pretty hot) gives Rogue a machine
for Christmas that negates her powers. They kiss. [On a side
note, Remy is annoyed that everyone calls Magneto Joseph. So
he starts calling himself "James" in Uncanny #337
and continues to do so here.] |

 |
Uncanny #185
There are two reasons to have this issue. 1) This is the first
instance that Caldecott County is mentioned in connection
with Rogue. 2) Mystique discusses using Forge's new invention
to rid Rogue of her powers so that she can have her daughter
at home with her. I think that's just so sweet.

X-Men #169
OMG! If you are a Rogue/Wolverine fan and you don't have this
one already, shame on you. This is the real deal! A Rogan kiss.
If you have this one, I highly recommend #170 and #171. In #170,
Gambit asks Rogue about the kiss. In #171, Wolverine and Rogue
discuss her relationship with Gambit. Wolverine looks decidedly
unhappy with her faith in Gambit. |

Uncanny #388
Rogue goes a little crazy. She has Nightcrawler's coloring,
Colosus' body armor, Cyclops' optic blasts, Magneto's magnetism,
Storm's power (since she's calling forth lightning), Wolverine's
healing factor and his bone claws, there's an image of the Phoenix
in the clouds behind her...well, you get it. (She looks bad-ass
in this form.) They state that if Rogue had control, she could
summon these powers at will. Luckily, both the professor and
Wolverine help her put it all away. When she complains that
she can still feel the claws itching under her skin, the professor
tells her they are very likely permanent. |

 |
Uncanny #236
Rogue and Wolverine end up in Genosha naked! And who doesn't
want to see a naked Logan? Yummy. Rogue really can't handle
this situation. She and Carol come to an agreement. She allows
Carol to take over to get her and Logan out. Later in the comics
it is implied that Rogue was raped during her time here. |
