Natural Mutant Ability: Absorption through her skin, she is unable to control it. She gains the powers of any mutant she touches (with a few exceptions). She also gains their memories and personality.

Flight: She can heat air to allow flight. Speed of flight is unknown.
Solar Flares: these flairs reach 1,000,000 degrees Fahrenheit. They can be projected like missiles.
Fighting Skills: Sunfire was a martial arts expert. Since she retains all of the memories of those she absorbs permanently, it is safe to assume that she gained these fighting skills also.

Rogue is from Caldecott County, Mississippi. She discovered she was a mutant when she kissed her boyfriend Cody and knocked him out. Her real name was unknown until recently. The name currently used is Anna Marie (which I hate!).

Rogue was originally part of the Brotherhood. She joined the X-Men so that Xavier could help her gain control of those she absorbed.

She received the powers of Flight, Invulnerability and Super Strength when she absorbed Carol Danvers, aka Ms. Marvel. Carol Danvers returned as Binary, but left the X-Men when Rogue joined.

Wolverine originally hated Rogue. They became friends after she saved his fiancee's life while they were in Japan for the wedding. This issue is also where Wolverine gives her their first kiss that is not used as a weapon.

Rogue's most well known love interest is Remy LeBeau, AKA Gambit. The pair have had a tempestuous relationship. They are continually breaking up and getting back together. Things look to be going south again for them lately. (Not shedding any tears here.)

In X-Treme X-Men #13, Sage gave her a "jump start". This allowed Rogue to access the powers of every mutant that she has ever imprinted.

In X-Treme X-Men #18, Rogue lost all her powers while trying to save Gambit. Eventually she regained her absorption powers, still uncontrollable. It was never actually stated how she regained her powers, but the assumption is that Sage gave her a jump start. (Sage gave Gambit a jump start to return his powers in X-Treme X-Men #46.) X-Treme X-Men #46 is the last issue of that title. There is a team switch up at this point. The next appearance of Rogue is in X-Men #157 with her powers restored.

Rogue gained Sunfire's powers permanently when she absorbed him. [Rogue - 2004/2005 self-titled comic]. This is carried over to the main comics. Sunfire did not die from this absorption.
